SHOWOFF DANCE, ACT & SING

Our 2-hour musical theatre class for children aged 6+ through to GCSE level

Showoff Dance, Act & Sing is a unique class for ages 6+, right through to pre and current GCSE students.

We don’t just work with pre-written scripts and familiar songs. Students also get the opportunity to create, shape, and direct their own work. Through guided lessons in script writing, song creation, and choreography, we give young performers the tools to become their own artists and grow real confidence on stage.

We introduce, develop, and explore a wide range of primary art forms, including:
Dance
Music
Singing
Theatre
Musical Theatre
Physical Theatre
Devised Theatre
Mime
Spoken Word
Puppetry
Recitation
Vocal Coaching
Improvisation
Behind the scenes matters too.
We help students understand what happens not only in front of the curtain, but also the magic behind it, including the making of a production, stage presence, costumes, and age-appropriate stage make-up.

With fully qualified, insured, and highly experienced teachers, Showoff Dance, Act & Sing is an exciting addition to our weekly timetable, and we can’t wait to explore the limits of your child’s imagination.

INTRODUCTORY TRIAL PERIOD

If a new starter would like to join via an introductory trial, the cost of any remaining sessions within that month must be paid upfront at the time of joining to secure their space.

If joining on the final session of the month:
The final session must be paid for plus the following month in advance.

After the trial period, payments will automatically revert to the standard monthly class fee.

CLOTHING & WHAT TO BRING

Please ensure your child arrives wearing comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. For example: tracksuit bottoms or leggings, a T-shirt, hoodie, and trainers are perfect.

Not suitable: jeans, skirts, restrictive trousers, or clothing with loose tassels or ties. Please keep jewellery to a minimum and ensure long hair is securely tied back.
Please also ensure your child brings their own drink bottle.

TUCK SHOP

A small tuck shop will be available halfway through the session should your child wish to purchase sweets, ice creams, or cold drinks.

We suggest sending no more than £2 per child.
You are welcome to send tuck money in advance or provide cash on the night.
